Lost and (Hopefully) Found

From Audrey Novak:

Stuff around the boathouse this year is reminds me of that sock in the dryer that never returns. This Spring many dearly needed items have gone MIA. I spent a couple of hours going into places at the boathouse that I have never been to before (and at least for some, know I do not want to return) -- 3rd floor, office, every closet and store room, mens and womens locker rooms, gararge, house and trailer. This treasure hunt uncovered the long lost wooden seat for the Dirigo (which is now in a milk crate next to the tool cabinet, a 1/2 milk crate of tie-down straps, a paddle for the second launch just in time for coaching, and more empty boxes and dirty towels than I care to count (see earlierposting about cleaning), but none of the following:

1. Video camera (although the empty box is in the office).

2. Stroke coach bought from the big tag sale profits (and again, the empty box is on the shelf above the boat registration and sign-out binders).

3. Cox box (The missing 3rd cox box is not the one in the women's locker room.

4. The one in the locker room was bought by the women last year because we're so prescient.)

5. Pitch meter.

6. Additional tie-down straps (we used to have zillions).

7. The big white megaphone that sat between the boat bay doors for years.

8. A bilge pump, and Honda gas tank (Bob Nash added these last two items)

Door prizes for any of these that you find at the boathouse or in your car or truck where they've been safely stored since the Fall headraces. Seriously - add it all up and it's a lot of money. Please look all over for this stuff.

Oh, and has anyone seen the new trailer recently?
