Hail and Farewell... and Thanks to all

To all NHRC’s

Thanks to all who attended Monday night’s Annual Meeting. By rough count, there were 50 or more people there, which was very gratifying on the coldest night of the year.

I am pleased to announce that we now have a new Board:

I am sure that you will be hearing from President Novak soon, but allow me to say to all of you, Club members, committee members, committee Chairs and Board alike, what a privilege it has been to serve on this board these past four years. I am very happy to know that the club remains in good fiscal health, and that it is going forward with a fine new Board. Congratulations to all on the new Board, and thanks to all who ran for office. The willingness to serve has long been a hallmark of the New Haven Rowing Club and you all have demonstrated this, and for that I salute you, each and every one. If I were to attempt to list all of you who have given freely of your time in serving the club, it would be a very long list, but I cannot let this opportunity pass without a special note of thanks to “acting treasurer” Carroll Brooke who has always gone beyond the call to serve the club in so many ways.

As always, proud to be a NHRC, and dreaming of getting back on the water.
