Cleaning Notes

We ran into Mitz Carr finishing up her job cleaning the Augean Stables -- er, we mean, the Women's Locker Room, which was particularly thrilling because several people have missed their turn cleaning the Women's Locker Room, and it was really gross. You know who you are. Miss your turn next time, and you might get permanently assigned to clean the Men's Locker Room, OK?

Seriously folks -- cleaning the boat house ourselves saves us tons of money that would otherwise be tacked onto our dues, and it also has a moral purpose: it reminds us that we are a club, not an impersonal bunch of people inhabiting a sports facility. That and the witty banter on the dock make us, well, different from the rest. Please remember that you are responsible for either doing your job or, should you be unable to do it that week, switching with someone else so that the job gets done. If you don't do your job, it makes it worse for the next person. And because your name is listed in the bar to the right, not only should you know when your turn is, but the rest of us do too!

The new list, which has our schedule through the beginning of August, is up as of today: make a note of your date now if you are on it!!

Also, if anyone has seen the floor attachment to the new vacuum cleaner, can you just locate it and put it next to the vacuum? Muchas gracias.
