Dear NHRC Members,
If elected I want to try and make NHRC more competitive on the water winning more races in as many divisions as possible both men and women… and mixed crews. To achieve this I believe we need an independent body for crew selection headed by the coach (or Chairman of Selectors ). Secondly, I would hope we can get Hopkins School on board for this season on a trial basis… and the longer term if it works out for both parties. A joint coach would be a good approach. We also need more side by side crew workouts on the water under the supervision of a coach as this will give us a competitive edge. I will work as a member of the committee to try and achieve these ends and actively support other initiatives for the overall benefit of the majority or club members.
